Cynthia Ledbetter, M.S.N.,
joined the faculty in family and community medicine at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in 1994. She is an assistant professor and serves as the coordinator for the SIUC physician assistant program.
Ledbetter earned her master’s in nursing at the University of Illinois Chicago in Peoria (1994) and earned her bachelor’s at the College of St. Francis in Joliet, Ill. (1987). She was awarded a Quentin N. Burdick Rural Health Interdisciplinary Fellowship (1994).
Ledbetter is certified as a family nurse practitioner and as a diabetic educator. She is a member of the American Diabetes Association, Society of Teachers for Family Medicine and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
