September 1, 2006 Teresa A. Liberati, D.V.M., Ph.D., Most recently, she was assistant director of animal health services at Taconic Anmed in Rockville, Md. (2004-06) and toxicologist and veterinarian at Sanofi-Synthelabo Research in Malvern, Penn. (1996-2004). Liberati completed a postdoctoral fellowship in molecular and cellular toxicology at Inhalation Toxicology Research Institute in Albuquerque, N.M. (1996). She earned her doctoral and master’s degrees and completed her laboratory animal medicine residency at the University of Rochester in Rochester, N.Y. (1995, 1993, 1992). She earned her veterinary medicine degree at Ohio State University in Columbus (1988). She is certified as a diplomate by the American College of Laboratory Animal Medicine and the American Board of Toxicology. Liberati is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, American Association of Laboratory Animal Science, American Thoracic Society, American Society of Laboratory Animal Practitioners and Society of Toxicology. She is the author of more than 10 journal articles and abstracts. A native of North Canton, Ohio, Liberati is married to Douglas Liberati and has two daughters. -30- |
