Dr. Sara Beth Malone has joined the faculty at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Carbondale as an assistant professor of family medicine.  She is a member of SIU HealthCare, the medical school’s practice group, and on the medical staff at SIU Family Medicine Center-Carbondale.

Malone completed her family medicine residency at SIU (2010). She earned her medical degree at the University of Illinois Chicago (2006) and her bachelor’s degree in physiology at Southern Illinois University Carbondale (2000).

Malone is board certified in family medicine.  Her memberships include the American Academy of Family Physicians. 

A native of Johnson City, Malone is married to Shannon Malone and has two children.
