Brooke A. Miller has joined the medical staff at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine as a certified physician assistant (PA-C) and is providing patient services at Southern Illinois Family Medicine in Carbondale. She also is a faculty member for the SIUC Physician Assistant Program in Carbondale.
A member of both the American and the Illinois Academy of Physician Assistants, Miller completed her physician assistant’s degree at SIUC (2006).
Miller is working with SIU faculty physician Dr. Marci Moore-Connelley, assistant professor of family and community medicine. They care for patients of all ages and their families, but are especially interested in pediatrics and women’s health issues.
Moore-Connelley has been a faculty physician at SIU’s Family Medicine Residency Program since 2001. She is currently the chairperson for the Family Medicine Department at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. She is board certified in family medicine and a member of the American Academy of Family Medicine. Moore-Connelley also supervises resident physicians at the Franklin County Adolescent Center in West Frankfort and has made numerous presentations on health-related topics to students in the West Frankfort schools.
