Dr. Michelle M. Miner has joined the faculty at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine as an assistant professor of pediatrics.

Miner completed her pediatrics residency and earned her medical degree at SIU in Springfield (2002, 1999). She earned her bachelor's at the University of Illinois at Champaign (1995).

She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

A native of Park Ridge, she is the daughter of Harry and Marilyn Zatlin of Glenview. She is married to Kenneth Allen Miner, and they have two children, Cody Scott and Kayla Nicole.
