Helen L. Moose joined the faculty in family and community medicine at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in 1999. She is an instructor.
[Note: She has since been promoted to assistant professor of clinical family and community medicine.]

Moose earned her master’s in nurse-midwifery and her bachelor’s degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago (1999, 1983).

Moose is certified as a nurse midwife by the American College of Nurse Midwives and is a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives.  Her special interests are perinatal loss and women’s health.
