Regina Paul, Ph.D., has joined the faculty at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Carbondale as an assistant professor of MEDPREP, a program which helps prepare educationally disadvantaged students for success in medicine, dentistry or other health professional field. Her duties include teaching writing, verbal reasoning and learning skills. [Note: She has since been promoted to associate professor.]
Previously, she has held various positions at SIUC including teaching in zoology, curriculum and instruction, forestry and Touch of Nature (1989-2002). She owned G. Paul & Associates, a consulting business for environmental/science education training before joining MEDPREP. (2001-03).
Paul completed her doctorate in curriculum and instruction at SIUC (2001). She also earned her master's and bachelor's degrees at SIUC (1996, 1994).
