Dr. Stacy L. Sattovia 
has joined the faculty at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine as an assistant professor of internal medicine. As a hospitalist, she is coordinating inpatient treatment for SIU patients at Memorial Medical Center and St. John’s Hospital.
Sattovia recently completed a four-year internal medicine residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City and served a year as chief resident (2005). She earned her medical degree from SIU (2002) and her bachelor's in biology from Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington (1998).
Sattovia is a member of the American College of Physicians and American Board of Internal Medicine.
A native of Gillespie, Ill., Sattovia is married to Scott Sattovia.
