Dr. Anjali Singh 
has joined the faculty at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine as assistant professor of pediatric orthopaedic surgery. She is one of the new pediatric specialists recruited as part of St. John’s Children’s Hospital (SJCH), which is a joint endeavor of SIU and St. John’s Hospital in Springfield .

Prior to joining SIU, Singh was on the faculty at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, N. Y. (2006).
Singh completed a fellowship in pediatric orthopaedic surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas (2002) and her orthopaedic surgery residency at Louisiana State University Medical Center (LSU) in Shreveport (2001). She earned both her medical and bachelor’s degrees from LSU (1996, 1992).
Singh is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and a candidate member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
A native, of Sherman, Ill., Singh is married to Dr. Thomas Hansen and has a daughter.
