January 9, 2000 Kay H. Titchenal has joined the staff at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine as executive director of human resources. Titchenal has 25 years of experience, most recently as director of human resources, finance and administration at Applied Intelligence Group, a Netplex Company, in Edmond, Okla., after three years as the human resources director (1995-99). She previously held positions as director of corporate human resources, manager of executive projects and financial analyst (1989-95) at Foodbrands America in Oklahoma City. She also worked for Illinois Pork Corporation in Monmouth, Ill. (1988-89), the city of Monmouth (1982-88), Boynton, Waldron, Doleac [et. al.] law firm in Portsmouth, N.H. (1981-82), Basic Vegetable Products in Vacaville, Cal. (1974-77), Northwestern University in Evanston (1964-68), and St. John's Hospital in Springfield (1962-64). Titchenal earned her bachelor's degree at Western Illinois University in Macomb (1992) and her certificate in paralegal studies from McIntosh College/Franklin Pierce Law School in Dover, N.H. (1981). She has earned senior professional human resource (SPHR) certification (1998). She is a member of the Society for Human Resources, American Compensation Association and American Management Association. She is a Franklin Covey certified facilitator and has co-authored a book, "Change Masters: Principles for Mastering Change." Born in Springfield, Titchenal is the daughter of Mary Jayne and the late Paul Hunley of Auburn. -30- |
