Sandra K. Vicari, Ph.D.,
joined the staff at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in 1981 and became a member of the faculty in 1989. She is an assistant professor of psychiatry. [Note: She has been promoted to associate professor.}
Vicari earned her doctorate at Illinois State University in Normal (2003) and her master’s and bachelor’s degrees at the University of Illinois at Springfield (1993, 1984).
Vicari is a licensed clinical professional counselor and a certified sexual addictions therapist. Her special interests are child, adolescent and general psychiatry, sexual addiction and obesity.
