Wells is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association. Her special interests are in women’s health and obstetrics.
Dr. Tabatha Wells has joined the faculty at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine as an assistant professor of family and community medicine. She will provide care in the SIU Center for Family and Community Medicine (FCM) in Springfield and is a member of SIU HealthCare, the medical school’s group practice.
Wells is completing a faculty development fellowship at SIU. She completed her residency in family and community medicine at SIU School of Medicine (2012), where she also earned her medical degree (2009). She earned a bachelor’s degree in biology and psychology at Loyola University in Chicago (2003).
