Dr. Isha Tyagi has joined the faculty at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine as an assistant professor of internal medicine specializing in infectious diseases. She also is a member of SIU HealthCare, the medical school’s practice group.
Tyagi completed a fellowship in infectious diseases at SIU School of Medicine (2010) and her residency in internal medicine at Mercy Catholic Medical Center, Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pa. (2008). She earned her master’s degree in molecular, cellular and systemic physiology from SIU School of Medicine (2005) and her medical degree from Sarojini Naidu Medical College in Agra, India (2001).
Tyagi is board certified in internal medicine and board eligible in infectious diseases. She has been published in several professional journals.
