The Examiner newsletter is published twice a month by the Office of Public Affairs at SIU School of Medicine, normally on the first and third Fridays. It's distributed via email to faculty, staff and students of the School, to some hospital and SIUC administrators, and to selected others who may find the information useful.

Articles can be submitted to the Examiner via email, campus mail (Public Affairs at MC 9621), US mail or online. Some items are solicited by the editors or gleaned from bulletin boards and Calendar of Event submissions. Items appearing in the newsletter are selected for their news value based on the broadest appeal to the readership. Placement is based upon at item's significance to the School and its mission, or upon its importance to the overall interest of our readers.

To view a copy with live links, SIU employees can check their email on the corresponding publication date and see if the original mailer still exists.
