SIU School of Medicine Employees Honored for Service
Southern Illinois University School of Medicine has honored 16 employees this fall for their years of service in Carbondale.
Twenty-five year awards were presented to Mary S. Chaklos, Ph.D., MEDPREP program; and Pamela Jacobini, office manager, physiology.
Twenty year awards were presented to Blaine Bartholomew, Ph.D., professor, biochemistry and molecular biology; and William Thomas McDowell, academic support.
Six employees were presented with 15-year awards and six employees were recognized for 10-years of service.
Established in 1970, the mission of SIU School of Medicine is to assist the people of central and southern Illinois in meeting their health needs through education, patient care, research and community service. Its Website is www.siumed.edu.
