The program includes a presentation about Japanese holidays by Dr. Shingo Chihara, assistant professor of infectious diseases at SIU.

There also will be cultural displays as well as tasting of Japanese foods.

Ethnic Heritage Day celebrations are held regularly to share information about various ethnic cultures. The events are organized by the SIU Diversity, Multicultural and Minority Affairs office. For more information, contact Debby Kassube at 545-7334 weekdays.
