An Ethnic Heritage Day celebration featuring Israeli culture will be held Wednesday, January 16 at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. The event will be held from noon to 1 p.m. in the South Auditorium of the School’s main building at 801 N. Rutledge St., Springfield.

The program includes a presentation, “Medical Innovations from Israel:  21st Century Israel vs. 20th Century Israel” by Daniel Blumenthal, Government of Israel Economic Mission to the Midwest. Foods from the Israeli culture also will be offered.
