SIU School of Medicine Offers Free Car Seat Inspection in Beardstown

A free car seat inspection event will be held in Beardstown, offered by Southern Illinois University School of Medicine’s ThinkFirst program. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, August 29, at the Team Knipmeyer, Inc. Dealership, 205 E. Fourth St., Beardstown.

ThinkFirst, an injury prevention program offered by SIU School of Medicine in Springfield, will have trained technicians on site to provide free car seat inspections. 

This event is sponsored by SIU School of Medicine’s ThinkFirst program, Illinois Secretary of State’s Office, the Illinois Department of Transportation/Division of Traffic Safety, Team Knipmeyer, Inc.
