The Simmons Cancer Institute at SIU, 315 E. Carpenter St., Springfield, serves the people of central and southern Illinois by addressing their present and future cancer care needs through medical education, biomedical research, patient care and community service.

Dedication:July 2008

The building was dedicated in July 2008 as the SimmonsCooper Cancer Institute. The name has since been changed to Simmons Cancer Institute.
