SIU School of Medicine in Springfield has offices, research labs and clinical facilities in 14 locations, including medical school buildings as well as Memorial Medical Center and St. John's Hospital.

Directions to West Campus buildings on Rutledge
From the north or south via Interstate 55: Take exit 98-B (Clear Lake Avenue) and proceed west on Clear Lake, which becomes Jefferson Street. Turn right at First Street and proceed north to Carpenter Street. Turn left on Carpenter and proceed west to Rutledge Street. Turn right on Rutledge. SIU buildings are on the west side of Rutledge and Memorial Medical Center on the east.	From the east via Route 54: Take Route 54 to I-55 S. and exit at 98-B ( Clear Lake Avenue). Turn right on Clear Lake (which becomes Jefferson Street) and take to First Street. Turn right on First and take to Carpenter Street. Turn left on Carpenter to Rutledge Street and turn right on Rutledge. SIU buildings are on the west side of Rutledge and Memorial Medical Center on the east.
From the north via Route 29: Continue on Rte. 29 into Springfield, when it becomes J. David Jones Parkway, then Walnut Street. From Walnut, turn left at North Grand, then right at Rutledge Street. SIU buildings are on the west side of Rutledge and Memorial Memorial Center on the east.	From the West via I-72: Exit 93 (Springfield-Chatham) Route 4. Turn left on Route 4, which becomes Veterans Parkway. Proceed to Jefferson Street (which become Madison Street), and turn right. Take to Rutledge Street and turn left. SIU buildings are on the west side of Rutledge and Memorial Medical Center on the east.
From the east via Route 29: Take I-55 N to exit 98-B and proceed to Clear Lake Avenue. Turn left at Clear Lake (which becomes Jefferson Street) and continue to First Street. Turn right at First and continue to Carpenter Street. Turn left at Carpenter, then right at Rutledge Street. SIU buildings are on the west side of Rutledge and Memorial Medical Center on the east.	From the West via Route 97: Take Route 97, which becomes Jefferson Street in Springfield. Take to Jefferson, which becomes Madison Street, to Rutledge Street and turn left. SIU buildings are on the west side of Rutledge and Memorial Medical Center on the east.
From the east via Interstate 72: Take 1-72 into Springfield, which becomes Clear Lake Avenue. Proceed on Clear Lake, which becomes Jefferson Street, to First Street. Turn right at First and continue to Carpenter Street. Turn left at Carpenter and continue west to Rutledge Street, then turn right. SIU buildings are on the west side of Rutledge and Memorial Medical Center on the east.	From the south via Route 4: Route 4 becomes Veterans Parkway in Springfield. Turn right at Jefferson Street, which becomes Madison Street, to Rutledge Street and turn left. SIU buildings are on the west side of Rutledge and Memorial Medical Center on the east.
