Nineteen SIU Faculty Physicians Named "Best Doctors"

Nineteen faculty physicians at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine are to be included in Best Doctors® in America 2003-2004 database. Best Doctors includes 30,000 physicians in the U.S., all chosen through a peer-review survey in which thousands of physicians participate. The database represents the top five percent of physicians in more than 400 subspecialties of medicine. The SIU physicians included are --

Dr. Robert A. Buzzell, assistant professor of dermatology,

Dr. Rodger J. Elble, Ph.D., professor and chair of neurology,
Dr. Jonathan N. Goldfarb, associate professor and division chief of dermatology,
Dr. Stephen R. Hazelrigg, professor and division chair of cardiothoracic surgery,
Dr. Horst R. Konrad, professor of otolaryngology head and neck surgery,
Dr. Mark McAndrew, professor of orthopaedic surgery,
Dr. Cameron C. Olson, associate professor of family and community medicine,
Dr. Michael R. Pranzatelli, professor of pediatrics and neurology,
Dr. Jan Rakinic, associate professor of surgery,
Dr. K. Thomas Robbins, professor and division chair of otolaryngology,
