Calcium keeps your bones and teeth healthy. Dairy products are a concentrated source of calcium. Pregnant women need 3-4 servings of dairy per day.

 

Glass of Milk

 

One serving is:

1 cup milk
1 cup yogurt
1 ½-2 ounces cheese
½ cup cottage cheese

 

Tips for Increasing Calcium:

Add cheese to sandwiches and vegetables
Try a milkshake or yogurt smoothie
Use milk to make creamed soups
