Senior Clinical Competency Examination (SCCX) Grade Review Process All students are entitled to request a review of their final Senior Clinical Competency Examination (SCCX) grade and receive a timely response. When SCCX grades are finalized by the Clinical Competency Examination (CCX) Committee, they will be sent to the Student Progress Committee and to students via US mail (at the address they have on file in the Office of Student Affairs unless other arrangements have been made with SCCX staff). In addition, students will be sent an e-mail notice, which will be considered their official notification that SCCX grades have been recorded. This notification will include a reminder of the Grade Review Policy. To begin the review process, a student must provide, in writing, to the Chair of the CCX Committee the basis for the request within 10 working days of the official notification of SCCX grades. The Chair of the CCX Committee must respond, in writing, to the student’s request within 10 working days of receipt of the request for review. The outcome of this review will be shared with the student and submitted to the Student Progress Committee. This decision will be considered the final grade.
