July 3, 2001 Meeting Notes

Present:  David S. Resch, MD, Chair; Terri Cameron, Staff; Rhona Kelley, MSLS; Scott MacGilvray, MD, and Dean Naritoku, MD

• David Resch reported that the memo had gone to all faculty regarding the EPC/IMPC IT Subcommittee, and that, in the meantime, Scott MacGilvray, Dean Naritoku, and Jeff Suzewits had been invited to join the group.
• A memo will be sent to the Associate Dean for Student Affairs, asking that this subcommittee be added to the list of committees for student elections so that one student from each year can be elected from each class.
• Dean Naritoku asked that Information Resources be asked to attend an upcoming meeting and provide an overview of resources (particularly web-based curriculum resources) available for the undergraduate and graduate curriculum. One of the areas he is particularly interested in is self-assessment.  Rick French and Hurley Myers will be asked to attend the September 4 meeting.
• Terri Cameron provided an overview of educational resources currently in place for the undergraduate curriculum.
• The next meeting of the subcommittee is scheduled for Tuesday, September 4, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.  (There is no August meeting.)
