Southern Illinois University School of Medicine is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action institution in accordance with Civil Rights legislation and does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, national origin, sex, age, handicap or other factor prohibited by law in any of its educational programs, activities, admissions or employment practices.  In accordance with these principles, it is the determination of the Executive Committee that School of Medicine faculty, staff, residents, and students shall not discriminate on the basis of, nor shall they create a hostile or offensive environment with respect to race, religion, national origin, sex, age, handicap or other factors prohibited by law, in the context of their participation in School of Medicine educational programs, including, but not limited to lectures, presentations, and curriculum delivery.
