SCOPE

The Student Literary Magazine of Southern Illinois University School of Medicine

Volume III

Spring 1996

We are proud to present to you the third annual edition of SCOPE.  The success of the first two editions prompted us to try and maintain their level of originality and expressivity. We hope this magazine allows the reader to glimpse the creativity of the medical community.

The Southern Illinois University School of Medicine has greatly supported the production of this magazine. We thank them for their financial support, as well as their generous personnel who devoted a great deal of their time and energy. We would especially like to thank Dr. Phil Davis, Dr. Jacqueline Scolari, and Nancy Calvert for their guidance in this endeavor.

This edition of SCOPE is dedicated to Kathy Hoyt and Jean Kirchner for their unwavering commitment to the production of this magazine.
