Small brown bear was small lost bear
leftover guest from overnight guest
no real claim. Tho
he smelt of her home and looked of her home
he made my lungs ache and my heart break,
cigarette reek,
and holey, holy little broken back.
Yet inside was a music box,
which ticked a cadence in my ear,
I would wind him up and feel
the little metal heart beats tinkling.
