For your convenience, important dates/events that may affect your schedule have been indicated on the calendar. Shading appears every other 4-week session.  Two and four week courses will normally begin on odd numbered weeks (e.g., weeks 1, 3, 5, etc.).  Brackets have been placed around 5-week blocks for extended electives (5 weeks = 1 block). Extended electives will begin on weeks 1, 6, 11, 16, 21, 27, 37, & 42.  Students cannot schedule electives during their Neurology Clerkship rotation or the Doctoring Medical Humanities Clerkship.

  • Medical Humanities Clerkship: The Physician and Society (2 weeks: #35 & #36)
  • Year Two/Year Four Mentoring Program
  • Geriatrics Initiative
• Clinical Competency Exam (2 Days)
• Electives:  30 Weeks
• Residency Requirement:  20 Weeks On-Campus Credit
• Core Department Requirement:  12 Weeks (Must meet Policy 2.2.1)
• Intensive Clinical Experience:  One Four-Week Course from Approved ICE List
• Basic Science Electives: 4 Weeks from Approved BSE List
