Institute Debbie's nominators said, "Debbie was with the Department of Surgery
for nearly all her career at SIU. She consistently completed every
task and new assignment we gave her. She was the person employees
would seek when they needed assistance or confidential counseling. She
is fair-minded, objective, and experienced. Debbie is a valued
employee of the School of Medicine."

Anne's nominators said,
"She is a joy to work with and always has a positive attitude. Anne
always maintains a cheerful and pleasant attitude even in difficult
times."
2003 Employee of
the Year
Sean Trammell
Surgery
Sean's
nominators said, "Sean provides immediate support for all computer
related equipment in our department including administrative offices and
all clinics. A call for assistance never goes unheeded. He
also keeps several departmental servers and multiple printers
and fax machines working in excellent order. He has automated remote
handling of many tasks so that users experience little to no downtime when
upgrades, new software, etc. needs are present. He is the 'best' at
using all resources and stays well under budget when addressing hardware
needs. ... receive numerous notes of appreciation from faculty and staff
alike commending Sean on timeliness and human relations skills ... There
isn't room to detail all his accomplishments. He is never absent,
never sick."

Capital Planning & Service Operations
According
to Mike’s nomination, he is one of the hardest working members of the
School of Medicine. He is "always courteous and helpful. If there is a problem, Mike is quick to respond.
Mike is unfailingly pleasant.
He always has a good word. Mike assists coworkers
projects outside of work and is always first to volunteer to provide items
and/or assist in department gatherings." His nominator goes on
to say that Mike strives "to provide the clinical operations the best
possible building services." |
