The Department of Psychiatry of Southern Illinois University School of Medicine is seeking to hire a full-time faculty member to fill the position of Assistant/Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatry.  The incumbent will serve as Medical Director for Chester Mental Health Center in Chester, Illinois.  The position is also responsible for instruction of students, residents and other allied health professionals, as well as, participation in clinical and research services, including the re-establishment of a forensic psychiatry fellowship.

1. Completion of four years of AOA or ACGME approved postgraduate training with specialization in psychiatry and an ACGME accredited forensic psychiatry fellowship

2. Board certified in general and forensic psychiatry

3. Eligible for licensure in the State of Illinois
