JOB SUMMARY: |
|
The department seeks a
candidate who can build upon a successful health law and policy
program and develop individual and collaborative educational and
research initiatives which would help increase understanding of
health law and policy issues and improve the health of people of
central and southern Illinois and beyond. The successful
candidate can anticipate a cross appointment to the SIU School of
Law faculty. |
|
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: |
|
1. J.D. or
equivalent legal degree from a nationally accredited law school
2. Additional
graduate degree(s) in health policy, public policy (with a health
focus), health care finance, health economics, public health or a
related field |
|
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: |
|
1. Demonstrated
experience teaching medical students, health professions students,
or small group teaching in other higher education settings |
