Degree Awarded:

The SIU SOM PA Program offers a 26 month Program for completion of requirements for a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MSPA) degree. 

Upon successful completion of the Program, a Master of Science Degree in Physician Assistant Studies (MSPA) and a Certificate of Completion in Physician Assistant Training are awarded to graduates of the Program. Graduates are then candidates for national certification through the National Commission of the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). More information is available at www.nccpa.net.
