About

Mark Johnson, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at SIU Medicine.  Before joining SIU, Johnson worked at Barnes-Jewish, Saint Peter’s Hospital in Saint Peter’s, Missouri, in private practice Highland, Illinois, and SSM Glennon Care Pediatrics in Belleville, Illinois.  Johnson earned a Medicinae Doctoris from Saint Louis University School of Medicine, Saint Louis, Missouri and was a Pulmonary Fellow at the Division of Allergy and Pulmonary Medicine, Saint Louis Children’s Hospital, Saint Louis, Missouri.  Dr. Johnson is certified with American Board of Pediatrics, Diplomat and National Board of Medical Examiners, Diplomat.  He holds medical licenses in the State of Illinois and the State of Missouri.  He is a member of American Academy of Pediatrics, American College of Sports Medicine and North American Society of Pediatric Exercise Medicine.
