Adolescent Medicine
Dr. Steven Bowers directs the adolescent medicine rotation. Dr. Bowers is board certified in Adolescent Medicine, Pediatrics, and Internal Medicine. He organizes the rotation and coordinates the resident's experience amongst the various clinics, sites, and instructors.
Dr. Bowers utilizes his own private practice for the resident's weekly adolescent clinic and also supervises all inpatient consultations at MMC Adolescent Psychiatry unit. Dr. Bowers interacts routinely with the individuals involved with the various teaching aspects of the adolescent medicine rotation.
Dr. Bowers meets with the resident 4 hours per week in his private clinic, 2-3 hours per week staffing inpatient consults, and has regularly scheduled adolescent medicine noon lectures.
