The Clinical and Metabolic Genetics Division at Southern Illinois University, School of Medicine, based in Springfield Illinois, is a recognized and approved genetics center, by the Great Lakes Regional Genetics Group.
This division was set up to provide specialized clinical genetic services to Central and Southern Illinois area districts for adult, pediatric, prenatal and cancer patients. The Division is also a research based teaching facility within Southern Illinois University, School of Medicine, with a number of publications in both Genetic and Metabolic disorders.
