Illinois University Physicians & Surgeons, Inc. (SIUP&S) does not
maintain its own Web server. All Web
pages for SIU P&S are located on the Web server maintained by Southern
Illinois University School of Medicine (SIU SOM) under the domain of
siumed.edu. This Web privacy notice
serves to inform users and SIU P&S Web professionals about specific
privacy practices employed by SIU P&S and SIU SOM. SIU P&S is governed by and adheres to
the School’s Web privacy policy since all SIU P&S Web sites are
located on the School’s Web server.
The information below is what is posted on the School of Medicine’s Web page as
the School’s Web privacy policy.

The SIU
P&S Main Web site does not automatically collect information from
user’s or user’s machines.
The Web site has links to other Web sites maintained by other
departments. If different privacy
practices are used, Web privacy notices must be posted on the sites that are
using different practices. The Web
site also has links to other Web sites that are not maintained by SIUP&S
or SIU SOM personnel. When a user
leaves the SIU P&S Web site and visits another site, the privacy policy
of that site governs its use. SIU
P&S is not responsible for the content of such Web sites or their privacy
practices.
