The purpose of this study is to find out the effects (bad or good) that local radiation has in preventing the return of lung cancer, to help with future treatment of lung cancer

Protocol Summary:

Patients will have lung surgery to have the mass or lung nodule removed. Then there will be an insertion of I-125 interstitial radiation vicryl mesh implant placed along the suture line where the mass was removed.
