Changes in cancer-related cytokines after a physical activity intervention

Purpose of trial: To determine if a physical activity intervention affects inflammatory markers in the blood called "cytokines"
Possible benefit: No medical benefits. This knowledge may help future cancer patients.

Type of patients needed: Patients who have had one diagnosis of Stage I, II or III A breast cancer
Age: 18 to 70 years of age
Health status: Previous cancer diagnosis
Number of visits required: 2 visits for intervention participants, 3 visits for control participants
Length of study involvement: 5 to 8 months

Tests to be performed:

Body composition, muscle strength, physical fitness assessment, sub-maximal treadmill test, blood draw, survey, record of diet for 3-day period, wearing a motion sensor
