This research lab, also known as "The Play Lab," at Southern Illinois University is headed by Dr. Lisabeth DiLalla, a developmental psychologist at the SIU School of Medicine. There are several research projects underway at the Lab, all of which are described at the "Research" link. These research projects currently focus on preschoolers and the development of peer interactions and parent-child interactions from preschool through adolescence.

We are always looking for interested parents of multiples (identical or fraternal) to participate in our research! The lab visits for preschoolers are fun, and children always take home great toys as a thank-you gift for participating! Adolescents can complete questionnaires from the comfort of their own homes! If you might be interested in talking to someone at the lab about this research,
PLEASE CALL US AT 618-453-5206
or e-mail Dr. DiLalla at ldilalla@siu.edu!

We soon will begin a new study on parenting of 5- to 8-year-old twins. Be on the look-out for mail from us if you have been tested in the lab before and your twins are now aged 5 to 8 years!
