The Department of Psychiatry of Southern Illinois University School of
Medicine is seeking to hire a full-time faculty member to fill the position of
Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry. The primary thrust of the position
will be to provide educational, clinical, and administrative services to
McFarland Mental Health Center, a 100-bed inpatient care facility. The
incumbent will also be responsible for instruction of students, residents and
other allied health professionals as well as participation in clinical and research
services. SIU SOM is an EEOC employer.

Qualified applicants will have an M.D. or D.O. degree, must have completed
four years of approved residency training in psychiatry, be board eligible or
certified in general psychiatry and be eligible for licensure in the State of
Illinois. Deadline for receipt of applications will be May 12, 2006 or until filled.
