Southern Illinois University School of Medicine Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry SMS 1720 and 1721 (2 positions)
The SIU Department of Psychiatry is seeking to hire a child psychiatrist to provide clinical leadership and assist in the development of a new children’s psychiatric hospital. This position will be at the Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry level and will serve as a Unit Director. The incumbent will be responsible for instructional activities to students, residents, fellows and allied health professionals and for service and research functions related to specialty interest and expertise.

Qualified applicants will have an M.D. or D.O. degree must have completed four years of approved residency training in general and child and adolescent psychiatry must be board eligible or certified in general and child and adolescent psychiatry and be eligible for licensure in the State of Illinois.
