Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry SMS 1751


The incumbent will be primarily responsible for direct patient care activities
with psychiatric outpatients at the SIU Behavioral Health Center, as well
as circumscribed inpatient duties at Memorial Medical Center, St. John's
Hospital or Springfield Behavioral Health (PSI) in Springfield, IL. Academic
duties include active participation in the development and delivery of
instructional activities to medical students, residents and allied health
professionals.

Qualified applicants will have an M.D. or D.O. degree, must have completed
four years of an ACGME or AOA-approved residency training program in
general psychiatry and a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship.
Applicants must be board certified or eligible in general and child and
adolescent psychiatry and must be eligible for licensure in the State of
Illinois. Deadline for receipt of applications will be September 30, 2007 or
until filled.
