This is a sample rotation schedule showing the various rotations in each of the three years of residency. All rotations in the first year are required; the following years have increasing flexibility and variety for electives (underscored). There are many different rotations available for individual/elective study not included above. The rotation requirements of Family Practice change periodically, and the curriculum shown demonstrates the flexibility to accommodate such changes.

Quincy Family Practice recently converted to a "Block" system; each block consists of exactly 4 weeks, and by doing so, additional time was created in order to accomodate more room for electives and, potentially, time to pursue individual interests. These interests, when presented to the Cirriculum Committee in the form of a formal proposal, may be accepted as an elective rotation (the most recent interesting electives: Aquatic Medicine and Treadmills!!).
