Worldwide millions of women have chosen sterilization as their method of contraception. However, when life circumstances change, many women may express regret due to a change in family circumstances such as the death of a child, improved economic situation, change in marital partner, or decision to have more children. Tubes after repair A tubal reversal procedure allows the removal of blockage from the fallopian tube and reopens the tube to allow for the egg and sperm to meet in a natural way. The newest technique is a robotic tubal ligation reversal.  da Vinci robotic surgery allows physicians to place the tubes together with greater precision and less blood loss through tiny 1-2 cm incisions.  This ultimately allows for a quicker recovery for the patient in order for them to get back to their normal daily activities quicker.

While clinical studies support the effectiveness of the da Vinci® System when used in minimally invasive surgery, individual results may vary.
