What attracted you to the SIU Center for Family Medicine ?
When I met with the faculty and staff I was impressed not only by the caliber of the program but also that the environment was one of trust and genuineness.

What makes this program unique?
The people I work with! I feel there are many programs that offer a great patient population, various procedures and academic excellence. However, knowing that I can have all of that plus people I enjoy working with makes a world of difference.

What is living in Springfield like for you?
My wife and I were attracted to the Springfield area because it seemed like a great place to raise a family. I’m not sure how to explain it other than it has that “hometown” feel. It is also so convenient being able to hop in our car and only drive a short distance to two large metropolitan cities for a day trip.
