"I was impressed about how the program was dedicated to education but with a touch of personal approach. It was impressive to see how involved they are in the progress of their residents." How does this resideny prepare you for the real world? "Our admission rates to hospital vary from the simple to the very complex. Everyone is confident about dealing with cardiac issues. At the same time, doing nursing home visits and following your personal patient who has been admitted plays a critical role in preparedness for real life. The program also incorporates the old-fashioned practice of "home visits" which patients find very positive especially if they have difficult time moving about." What are your future plans? "Private practice for now, but I am open to other options should they arise."
