What attracted you to this program?
Having worked with the faculty as a medical student here at SIUSOM, I knew how caring and compassionate they are. They love to teach and are willing to go the extra mile to make sure you are proficient in the knowledge/skill.

What makes this residency unique?
The focus on evicence-based medicine. I am confident that I will leave this residency program know the most current data in practice and have the skills to be able to continue my medical education throughout my career.

What is living in Springfield like for you ?
Springfield is a quaint city. I'm from St. Louis, so it's nice to be close to home.

What will your future practice be ?
I would like to stay in academic medicine and help to train residents,like
myself,who are passionate about evidence-based medicine and staying up to date with the literature.
