Before Helen joined the Center for Family Medicine, she worked as a labor and delivery nurse at Memorial Medical Center. She completed a Bachelor Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Illinois in Chicago. In addition, she completed a Bachelor of Science in Art from Illinois State University in Bloomington, Illinois. Helen works with the family medicine residents, both in the inpatient and outpatient setting, assisting them with OB patients. In conjunction with faculty and residents, Helen sees prenatal patients in Girard and at the Capital Community Health Center in Springfield.
