What attracted you to this program?
The team here is great with both faculty and residents that are always working together and respecting each other. This is what attracted me most to the SIU Center for Family Medicine.

What makes this residency unique?
What makes this program unique is our program director, Dr.Albers, who is very patient and listens to everything I say, particularly when I interviewed I was very impressed by this. The faculty and residents are very friendly and open to everything you say. They always encourage you to ask questions no matter what it is about and are always willing to help.

What is living in Springfield like for you?
My family moved with me from North Carolina to Springfield and so far I really have enjoyed living here. I think its a good place to raise a family. It always feels good when you can go home in a few minutes and spend some time with your family.
