"It‘s a university program, with exposure to wide variety of pathophysiology which will train me to gain real world experiences. I am confident that I will be adequately trained to practice full spectrum of family medicine." What is living in Springfield like for you? "Springfield is a small town. I always wanted to live in small town because it has a hometown feel to it. People here are very friendly. Living here is very affordable compare to big cities. It is a safe place and an easy place to raise kids." What makes this residency unique? "The most unique feature for this family medicine residency program, is the people in this program. Both faculty and residents are bright, hardworking and enthusiastic and form a very good learning environment. Our program director, Dr. Albers is very caring and approachable. Residents are very supportive of each other. I am very impressed by the willingness of residents to learn as well as to teach."
